To manage passwords I use LastPass premium (with the YubiKey) and Keepass on PC or KeepassX on Mac for non-web passwords. Yubikey keys exist in different versions. If you want to use it only for gmail and other services that are gradually implementing it, the basic version, the Fido U F security key, is sufficient . I advise you to buy together an original Yubikey UTF stick as the main key (it is very resistant and can be put on the key ring), and a cheaper one (for example Security key plug-up ) to keep at home as a reserve.
If, however, you want to use it to also manage Password Safe Pro, you must take the Yubikey Edge stick , not the basic U F one. However, you can use the same key for other services (including gmail). For security reasons and personal paranoia I don't use password management software on mobile devices, also because I always have a desktop available. However, if you travel a lot, I recommend photo editor installing the mobile version of Lastpass, and protecting your phone with a strong password (not gestures), installing and activating AVG Mobile or similar to be able to lock your phone remotely and locate it in case of theft.
For antivirus and antimalware on your computer I recommend Sophos antivirus for Mac , AVG for Windows PCs . For smartphones I recommend AVG for Android smartphones , while I don't know the iPhone world and for now I can't give suggestions on antivirus and antimalware. For connection security when I happen to use open Wi-Fi networks offered by clubs, airports, etc., I have an annual subscription to PrivateInternetAccess : it offers a reliable and fast VPN service, so if you activate it before connecting to public Wi-Fi networks, the your data is safe. It can be installed on devices, for the cost it is really useful.
